The Certificate of Eligibility is a statement that the Godmother and Godfather are members in good standing in the parish in which they worship and that they are competent to act as godparent/sponsor.

You must be a registered, actively participating member of the Parish for at least six months. Having received the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation at St. Ann’s does not mean that you are active participating parishioner.

Being active means, you are registered, you attend Mass often, you are active in the church, you receive envelopes and contribute to the life of the church weekly at Mass with time and talent.
