Robert J. McKee
Robert J. McKee, of Milford, Pa., died Monday May 31, 2004 at Belle Reve Senior Living Center, Milford, Pa. He was 92.
Bob retired as director of industrial relations from the A & P Tea Company in 1973 and was an active member of the Shohola and Milford Communities. A great speed skater, athlete, storyteller and lover of the Twin Lakes environs and its people. He was a retired Lieutenant in the US Navy serving in WW II. He was a member of the Marsch Kellogg American Legion Post #139, Milford, Pa.; Mt. Laurel VFW Post #139, Milford, Pa.; and the Catholic War Veterans of the United States of America.
The son of the late Francis and Harriet Sutcliffe McKee, he was born on Oct. 14, 1911 in Manhattan, N.Y. He was married to the late Blanche Thomsen McKee of June 2, 1940. Survivors include his two sons Robert McKee Jr. of Waterford, Conn. and Christopher McKee of Manhattan, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Robert and Kyla McKee.
Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, Pa. on Wednesday, June 2 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 3 at St. Patrick's Church, 111 East High Street, Milford, Pa. The Rev. Gerald Mullally will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Shohola, PA.
Ceceilia M. McKee
Ceceilia M. McKee, 74, of Lackawaxen, a longtime resident of the area, passed away peacefully Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at home with her family by her side.
The daughter of the late Harold and Ida Rutledge McKee, she was born July 18, 1938 in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Ceceilia was a retired bookkeeper in Stock & Trade, Brooklyn, N.Y.
Ceceilia was a member of St. Ann's Church, Shohola. She was a member of the senior center Lackawaxen.
Ceceilia was a loving mother of three and her many grandchildren. She was always lending a hand to anyone in need. She enjoyed old movies, crocheting and shopping, swimming and the ladies in the birthday club. She will truly be missed.
Survivors include her three children: William Bauccio of Brooklyn, N.Y., Kevin Bauccio and his wife Cindy of Dingmans Ferry, and Jude Bauccio of Hawley; seven grandchildren: Victoria Bauccio, Kyle Bauccio, Keith Bauccio, Kevin Bauccio Jr., Megan Bauccio, Emily Carella and Vito Carella; many nieces and nephews.
Ceceilia was preceded in death by her sister Carol Rizzi, brothers Jimmy and Harold (Butch) McKee, Ethel Cwikla, Madeline Peck and Eileen (Sammy) Granowski and her brother George McKee.
Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 2-4 p.m., 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 19 from 9-9:30 a.m. at the Harrison-Raasmussen Funeral Home, 3412 Route 97, Barryville, NY 12719.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, Shohola.
