Josephine V. Andrelchik Jensen
Josephine V. Andrelchik Jensen of Greeley, PA, formerly of Honesdale, PA and E. Hanover, NJ, a librarian at Bethany Library for five years, died Sunday, February 13, at home. She was 76.
Daughter of the late Anthony Andrelchik and Sabina Andrelchik, she was born in Throop, PA.
She attended Sacred Heart Church in Greeley. She graduated from Johnson Technical School.
Survivors include her husband, August J. Jensen, at home; three daughters, Mary Augusta Fierro of Manahawkin, NJ, Helen Joyce Fitzgerald of Center Barnstead, NH and JoAnne Kelly of Hopewell, NJ; a son, Thaddeus of Shohola, PA; a brother, Stanley Andrelchik of Long Island; three sisters, Eileen Lyons of Nevada, Sophie Pohutsky of Texas, and Sister Bernice (Helen) Andrelchik of Ambler, PA; a brother, Anthony Andrelchik of Throop; 11 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Sacred Heart Church in Greeley. The Rev. Kevin P. Mulhern, pastor of St. John the Evangelist Church in Honesdale, officiated. Cremation took place at the H.G. Smith Crematory in Stroudsburg, PA.
