Rosemary A. Delanoy
Rosemary A. Delanoy, 82, of Milford, PA passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. She was a retired Director of Nursing for St. Agnes Hospital, White Plains, NY.
The daughter of the late Patrick and Agnes Meier Sweeney she was born June 7, 1926 in Hazelton, PA. She was married to the late Robert E. Delanoy on January 20, 1951 in Hazelton, PA. She was a member of St. Anns Church, Shohola, PA.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Cosentino and her husband, Charles of Milford, PA; granddaughter, Jennifer Cosentino of Milford, PA; grandson, Robert Cosentino and his wife, Nicole of Shohola, PA; great-granddaughter, Lily, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, PA on Monday, July 7, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anns Church, Shohola, PA on Tuesday, July 8, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Thomas Major officiating. Burial will take place in St. Anns Cemetery, Shohola, PA.
Robert E. DeLanoy
Robert E. DeLanoy died Thursday, March 13, 2003, at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. He was 75.
The son of the late Percy and Helen (DeLee) DeLanoy, Mr. DeLanoy was born in White Plains, NY. He was a retired Lieutenant of the White Plains Police Department, a U.S. Army WWII veteran, a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Greeley, PA, a member of the American Legion, White Plains and a member of the Emerald Society in Westchester, NY.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Sweeney DeLanoy; a daughter, Kathleen Cosentino of Shohola, PA; two grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph DeLanoy of White Plains, NY, and Percy DeLanoy of Elmsford, NY; two sisters, Virginia Steffenhagen of Matamoras, PA, and Connie DeFrancesco of Shohola, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Shohola, PA, on Monday, March 17. The Rev. David Kramer officiated. Burial will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, German Hill, Shohola, PA.
